Photo of David Tennant as Peter Vincent in Fright Night signed in silver Sharpie. Mr. Tennant is perhaps best known for his role as the 10th Doctor in Doctor Who, although my preference is for him in Shakespearean settings. From UACC RD #86, Movie Star Autographs.
I just heard the sad news that Jonathan Frid, who played Barnabas Collins in the original Dark Shadows, died last week (April 14) at the age of 87. I grew up watching reruns of Dark Shadows with my dad, and have fond memories of it and Mr. Frid. Back in January I sent away through his website for an autographed photo, which showed up at my door about a month and a half ago (see March 3, 2012). I've very glad that I decided to do that when I did and look forward to seeing Mr. Frid one last time in the Dark Shadows movie that is coming out in May.
